Billings Crit

2

I wandered downtown this evening to check out the Billings Crit to see what it was all about. My friend Shane, Billings’ Dedicated Downtown Center Beat Officer and the guy who convinced me to get my own bike last fall, was going to be working it so I thought, sounds fun! As I soaked up the nice weather and the warm sun I looked around for a good perspective to shoot from. After a few minutes I decided I would shoot and pan to try to capture essence of the race. These are my two favorite frames. I like the top for the fluid feel, especially in it’s panoramic composition and I like the second for the composition of all three racers, although I feel the background is a little distracting and wish there was ‘less’, but still, I like it. Both shot with my 15mm fisheye.
