I’m just a fella, here for a time, who loves to create and explore the world, near and far.
I have traveled extensively and have relished those times more than any other. Soon, I’ll visit the deep south, Central America and India.
I love to photograph but I must be in control of the creative process.
I love to write to complement an image.
I grew up on my Uncle’s farm just a few miles off the shores and dunes of Lake Michigan. I miss him and my Aunt Shirley dearly.
I am influenced by the old masters of paint and photography.
I once kissed a moose on the nose.
I once pissed my shorts when a grizzly surprised me on my hiking path.
I need to keep my mind very active or I fall into a funk.
I still love dark and thunderous rainstorms.
In short, I have to experience to the full extent my senses to be truly alive.
