When Cate emailed me asking if I could possibly shoot her son’s senior pictures this fall, she also kind of snuck in a “I know you’re super busy, but I was also wondering if,,,.” She was so funny. She asked if I was possibly available to shoot her wedding that was coming up very quickly on the calendar. I checked and sure enough I was free. The only thing was that I was shooting probably my biggest wedding of the season the day before and I hesitantly thought, ‘oooh, I’m not sure I’d have the energy the next day.’ But, after some quick thought and hearing the details, I became really excited.
A few weeks later Cate and Jay were married in Red Lodge, Montana. It was a very special, intimate evening surrounded by family and close friends. Cate, I’m glad you asked and I really enjoyed spending those two or so hours with you and your soft-spoken Jay, a true gentleman.
This is probably the best first moment I’ve ever captured in a wedding and it has nothing to do with me, but with Jay and his expressions! You can just feel it oozing out of the frames. Oh, and seeing how Jay is with the Highway Patrol and Cate is with Medical Response, we implemented some background cruiser goodness!

Ronnie~~these are great pics. You are so talented.
