Willie, named after none other than the legendary Willie Nelson himself, instantly stole away our hearts.

As Steve pressed some tasty Blue Mountain coffee for all of us to enjoy, we watched Willie run around with his new bone in total bliss until he had tuckered himself out.

It was a great start to my Sunday.

After about an hour I had everything renamed and organized. In one folder I found some happy treasures,,, the Bergtedts.

I’ve known the Bergstedts for a couple of years now and absolutely adore them all. They always invite me to the park and zoo and I’m always more than happy to go hang out. I look forward to the weekly high-fives when they come in to visit me at work and I love hearing about what they’ve been up to. They always bring a smile to my face and, well, simply put, my life is enriched by them.

Just thought I’d spontaneously blog about ‘em.

You let him run free and try your best to keep up! And, two year olds will have none of that posing nonsense, so why try?

A couple of weeks ago I spent part of a warm afternoon hanging out with everyone to get Talon’s landmark two year pictures, and once again, I had a blast.

It’s pretty awesome seeing Talon grow up through my lens and I get a kick each time I visit. Best of all? He now gives high-fives! Love it.

About a week or two before I left for Turkey I spent a little bit of one afternoon with Andrea and Jerod and their precious little gal. At the time, they were also expecting and within a few weeks a new little one was welcomed into their family.

Congratulations again my friends!
I’m so happy for you two and grateful to be able to spend some time with you now and then. It’s pretty amazing to watch a family grow.

Can’t wait for later this summer and another get together!
