I’m sunburned, out of clean clothes, my calves are screaming at me, and my reserve energy is pretty much tapped out,,, and its the best feeling in the world! These past few weeks have been nothing short of amazing. And when I say amazing, it’s more about the people I’ve met more than anything. The students (Kara, Jessalyn, Stefanie, Stephanie, Sarah, Sarah, Sarah, Sara, Halie, Rachel, Kortney, Dot, Morgan, Ashley, Zanessa, Carolyn, Sam, Ben, Grady, & Lawson) have been great to work with and I’ve not only had the great opportunity of seeing their life studying abroad, but I’ve also gotten to know them as friends. Another thanks to Rosalinda and Wimon and Shelly and Nathan for allowing us to be in your classes and part of your studies and day. It was great getting to know you!
Tomorrow morning at nine, Scotty, Scott, Stephen and I pack our stuff into a taxi and begin our long journey back to the states. We will first fly to Buenos Aires and have a few hours of the day there for lunch before heading again to the airport and splitting up; my flight taking a different route than theirs. It will be a long eight to nine hours to Dallas, but it’s an all night flight, so I’m hoping I may get caught up on some much needed sleep. Now that the assignment is over there is time for rest.
And, as the night comes and my eyes are getting heavy, so is a bit of my heart. Like I’ve said before, it’s always hard to go home after such a rewarding experience and especially so after being around such inspirations as the people here. I know we’ll keep in touch though and I can’t wait to hear about the adventures they will have had after we’ve gone. Take care all and I hope to see you again someday!
We were all estactic today when we came across some Brown Tufted Capuchin Monkeys on our trail. They were straight above us and it was quite an awesome sight watching them leap and bound from branch to branch as they foraged for their lunch.
To everyone who has been following along with our adventures here in South America, thank you! And thank you for all the support and comments. It’s much appreciated! See you in my next posting after I’ve unpacked and settled back into Montana.

This is amazing! Thank you for taking us all along with you via your posts. Look forward to the stories upon your return. Travel safe and sleep soundly.
