I’d go there

01

For my friend Rose in Romania. Thanks for sharing your lovely country with me and anyone who’s ever visited your blog. I’ve discovered it anew and have found myself drawn to its rich history, ancient standing architecture and beautifully painted scenery. I no longer think of Romania as only a haunted land dotted with dark castles, brooding woods or of cursed spirits endlessly wandering mountain pathways. Silly me.

  1. Oh, dear friend, you have no idea what joy brought to me your beautiful words and that amazing photo. :) I can only thank you for them and let you know that I am so moved.
Indeed Romania is not only a vampire land, as well known worldwide, but an amazing truly blessed place. You can call it fairy-land, dreamland, and you would still not do it justice.
Besides beautiful landscape, stunning mountains, green hills, blue sea, poppy and sunflower fields, green grass, we have amazing people. Caring, loving, welcoming and absolutely strong and determined people. :)
And they lived and fought for their land all their lives, they love it so much till the day, they cherish it and they made amazing monasteries, churches, palaces, strongholds.
I am thrilled to be able to show even a tiny little fragment of these beauties in my country. Thank you for seeing them, for understanding and for looking beyond the “commercial” parts.
Anytime you will want to come and see for yourself, and feel the real Romania, just let me know. :)
We share happily this piece of Heaven we have here with our friends.
    Sending hugs,
    Rose
