Came home again feeling defeated after spending another evening walking the alleys around Amy’s house looking for Kota. Early on I had made a mental map of all the backways, nooks and crannies within a four block radius of her house and have, every evening this week, marked another one off the search area. Not feeling to good at this point about finding him.
In trying to think of other more happy things, I started opening folders to pictures I had recently shot and when I saw this folder I knew I had to blog it. I mean, how could I not! I love hanging out with the Bergstedts and every time is an adventure in wonderment and surprise. It’s like I’m a kid all over again and I’m right there exploring this big ‘ol world with them. Mom and dad are amazing parents and have sacrificed, what I consider to be a lot, to adopt all four of these kids into their beautiful family. I urge you to head on over to their blog and read all about their story.
I hope everyone has a safe Memorial Day weekend and I’ll see you on the other side :)

I loooove their feet by the water. God, that puts me in the summer mood too! :D Happy kids make me happy. And the last photos could be named: “just add … sand”! Totally amazing.
[hope you will find the cat soon, my friend. sending hugs.]
