Monday nights are bike nights at the Grandstand. Spicy wings galore. Good times.

It’s 2:23 am and I should really be crawling into bed since I have to be up and out of the house by 7:45 in the am, but I just need to write. I want to write about my day, write it all down.

But…

I’m exhausted. It seems I have been going non-stop since Friday. So I’m just gonna keep it short for now.

Tonight I said goodbye to my good friend Brandi who’s heading back to Seattle tomorrow. I was excited that she was back in town over the weekend and even more happy that we got to hang out more than just once during her short trip home.

This girl is pretty awesome and I’m so proud of her accomplishments since leaving Billings a couple of years ago. She inspires that part of me that tells me to work harder and live better.

I’ll miss you Brandi and can’t wait to see you on your new turf later this year!

Between reuniting with friends last night who are home visiting over the holiday weekend and family sessions that filled up my morning, I’ve been nothing short of busy. In a few minutes I’ll be heading over to Shawn and Brenda’s for more good company, good eats, and some relax time to cap off the weekend. Hope yours was enjoyable.

I’ve been losing sleep lately to dreams that rattle me awake in the middle of the night. I’ve yet to figure out the meanings to most of them, if there are meanings to be discovered, but I am finding odd clues scattered throughout my day. It’s been a weird week. Maybe I’m just out of sorts or overly tired.

Monnyca and Ryan’s little one is celebrating his first birthday in a couple of weeks.
